1950's Lavender cotton poplin tailored vintage dress.
Lovely, lovely lavender dress, it's all about the cut with this piece. The bodice has a deep shawl collar and three quarter sleeves. The dress buttons through the front to below the waist. The skirt is very cleverly cut, with deep inverted pleats at the front that fan out, with two stand out hip pockets that give the typical 'fifties silhouette', accentuating the waist . The back of the skirt is fitted to the derriere.
The fabric is very high quality, fine Swiss cotton.
