1970's Dramatic black and white eidelweiss tapestry vintage dress.

Full length panelled dress in a heavy tapestry with a white eildelweiss design. The panels fit tightly into the waist and flare out to a full flowing hem. The eidelweiss motif is themed through to the unusual stepped neckline, edged in black velvet and reminisent of Alpine/Tyrolean styilng detail. The dress has very full, box pleated sleeves in black chiffon with tapestry cuffs.

Thea Porter designs have a romantic, Bohemian handwriting and  have become increasingly collectable, especially in the American market.

This is a fabulous, vintage statement piece.
