1960's 0range and gold vintage 'Harem' dress Saks Fifth Avenue

1960's Orange and gold Harem vintage dress.

We don't know why we call this a harem dress, but we think the rich colours and blousy skirt remind us of all those Arabian nights movies.
The bodice of the dress is fine orange and gold lurex cable knit rib, sleeveless with a deep scoop neckline.The deeply pleated skirt is paisley printed organza in cream, orange, pale tangerine and rust, which is then jaquarded with floral bouquets of gold lame and is completely FABULOUS! The fact that the top half is almost a casual tank top and the skirt is 'couture worthy'  fabric makes this a unique piece that captures the fun and irreverance of the 60's.

Style it OTT, as we have done in the photos, or on its own with flats on holiday.
