1950's Silk satin twill butterfly vintage dress.

This ivory silk dress is covered with a 'painterly'  print of butteflies and roses. The print colours are gold, buttercup yellow, coral pink and rose pink, highlighted with dark chocolate brown. Some of the butterflies are embellished with hand sewn clear iridescent sequins. The top of the bodice and sleeves have a painted border stripe. The dress has a classic fifties silhouette of wide scooped neck, short sleeves and tuilp shaped skirt with back zip fastening.

This beautiful dress is perfect for a summer wedding and typifies it's classic Italian designed heritage..........Think  'Roman Holiday' or 'Three Coins in the Fountain'.
