1950's Pleated cotton vintage skirt

The print features vignettes of  'Spanish Galleons' and is highly unusual. The whole print is shaded and textured , mainly turquoise blue with deeper shades of teal and kingfisher. The top of the skirt has prints of draped baroque tassels, in black and pale gold. The main border is Roccoco scrolled frames, featuring galleons at sea, with choppy waves and swirling clouds.

Fabulous, kitsch piece.
