1950's Baby blue jewelled lace Siren vintage gown.

This label came to fame designing Shirley Bassey's stage gowns.
Full length fitted 'wiggle' dress in baby blue silk ottoman, covered in white corded lace with net backing. The whole dress is hand beaded with clear glass bugle beads, irisdescent sequins, faux pearls and aquamarine faceted rhinestones. The gown has a scalloped front and 'V' 'shaped neckline and has a back zip fastening. The hem is also scalloped with a front 'kick-split' to enable movement as the dress is very fitted. The gown is fully lined in white silk.
This gorgeous vintage piece would have been designed to grace the Red Carpet in its day and would be have been perfect for our own sex siren 'Diana Dors', as baby blue was her favourite colour.
