1940's Floral printed crepe vintage day dress.
The dress has padded shoulders and 3/4 length sleeves. There is a front shawl collar and front fastening to the waist with black bobble buttons and rouleaux loops. The skirt has deep box pleats at the front. The print has a swirly pale grey background with clusters of mauve and dirty pink flowers with navy blue and shaded green leaves.
A  classic 40's print.
The dress needs to be belted in tightly at the waist to compensate for the amount of fabric.
